Catching the moment

Pictures are part of our life. They can be colourful or black-and white, simple or widely spiced by Photoshop, it can be made by a professional photographer or an amateurish, you can find them in your home-made album, photo gallery or newspaper. We are surrounded by little fragments from life.

A friend of mine showed me some photos that she received. They were very nice; the talented guy who took them had a very good sense to see things. While I was watching the pics I realized how much I missed photography. Last year I had lot of opportunities to take my camera, to roam about, discover hidden places and take shots.

Photography is not only about taking pictures of something, it is like catching a precious moment, a moment that you would like to keep forever, to show somebody else to get the same feelings that you had when you took the photo. It doesn’t matter the subject of your snapshot; it can be about friends, family, a landscape, a building, maybe an unknown person or whatever. Have you realized when you use your camera, you can catch and save the atmosphere? Each photo has its own tale, and you are the story teller, you, who take it. Everybody with a camera has a great possibility as well to be an artist.

Let me show you some photos I shoot; I put them below and on the left side. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed to take.

Your photos are beautiful and well composed.

Unfortunately my camera had broken a while ago. Since then I have taken my pictures with single-use cameras. Sadly, these cameras don't even come close to those high-density wonder machines.
Hope one day I will be able to afford one.

Common adventures...yeah ;-)
I used my digital camera, I changed them from coloured into sepia and I did some correction with the doggy one. :-)
