Catching the moment
A friend of mine showed me some photos that she received. They were very nice; the talented guy who took them had a very good sense to see things. While I was watching the pics I realized how much I missed photography. Last year I had lot of opportunities to take my camera, to roam about, discover hidden places and take shots.
Photography is not only about taking pictures of something, it is like catching a precious moment, a moment that you would like to keep forever, to show somebody else to get the same feelings that you had when you took the photo. It doesn’t matter the subject of your snapshot; it can be about friends, family, a landscape, a building, maybe an unknown person or whatever. Have you realized when you use your camera, you can catch and save the atmosphere? Each photo has its own tale, and you are the story teller, you, who take it. Everybody with a camera has a great possibility as well to be an artist.
Let me show you some photos I shoot; I put them below and on the left side. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed to take.

Sunday
I arrived at the railway station on time. The train didn’t. Sopiane intercity was expected eighty minutes later, I was hearing from the loud-speaker. “Always look on the bright side of life…” I had the annoying song in my mind…
Why not? I had time to admire the building. I saw writings on the wall, so I went closer, but I still couldn’t read them, not because I’m illiterate, I just don't speak Russian. The building keeps them like small souvenirs from the past. I guessed the diversified spider net with several layers of muck, hung from the ceiling everywhere was on the same age as the letterings. The woman in the ticket office maybe older. She was lovely anyway. With a wide smile on her face, she informed the passengers about another fifty minutes delay, willingly changed tickets into other services. Somebody changed the earlier to a later one, others inversely. Everybody tried to handle the situation in the best way, tried to figure life out somehow. The drunken old grandpa persistently made his circles around the platform and the departure lounge. He put me in the picture about how rich he was, showing his cash in his pocket. I couldn't understand what he talked about at all. Later, I saw him opening a beer, another one from his huge collection. The guy next to me was not as lucky as me. He couldn’t only see the brand new squirting beer but he could have it on his clothes and suitcase as well at the same time. I can tell, time is flying in a good company. A few beer-bottles later the train pulled in. I found my seat quickly, but my future travel mate put obstacles in my way. She said the train was late and we had plenty of seats, so I should have gone and found one. I didn’t take it to my heart, I discovered a single seat.
Later, while I was standing in the queue waiting for getting off the train, near by the door a young man approached me, asked whether he could help me with my suitcase because it was seemed to be heavy. Just a simple intentness, a question from a gentleman, but how heart-warming was it after all. I mumbled a “yes, thank you” with a kindly, grateful smile on my face, and the world became a better place again thanks for little human courtesy.

KT's World
She is KT Tunstall. Unfortunately her name is not really well known in Hungary. She is a talented Scottish singer and songwriter. Her style is very unique and almost indefinable; it is sort of an acoustic-alternative-folk-rock. "Campfire" feeling, soft tunes, bit husky pleasant voice with intelligent and sensitive lyrics make you thinking; that’s her.
This song titled "I want you back" is a cover from the Jackson5, she played it live in a French show one year ago. She is amazing!!!
Her brand new album, Drastic Fantastic has been released. This video "Saving my face" is from there.Enjoy!!!

Autumn Candles
A candlelight in the dark room at night is just a simple phenomenon, but its effect is more complex. It can give me serenity, which is a great value for me. I think, watching the little dancing lights is very relaxing, even if I have to study I can concentrate more when the light of the candles fill the room.
For a big candle fan like me making candles can be also a really enjoyable hobby. After you heat the wax in a little bowl above the boiling water in a small hob, the special smell of the hot, melted wax will spread into the whole kitchen’s air. It is like witchcraft. You can choose the shape, the size, the colour, your favourite scents; you can create all of your ideas. Only your imagination can block you. All of your products are individual with sort of an own spirit. There are wide ranges of your possibilities, you just have to be creative and finally the whole house will be full of drying candle shapes and forms. Of course, you will need the support of other members of the household-shore. Their comprehension will be useful when in the end of your work; you look around and realize the big mess everywhere around you. This is the part of the pleasure.
After the extensive cleaning process, now I have time to enjoy the fruit of my work. I’ve put on some music, I’ve chosen the proper candles, successfully found a matchbox, switched on my computer and started to write. The wind is blowing coolly outside, the colourful leaves are falling down, nice season, isn’t it?
